We believe in places where people truly meet. In flavour born of craft. In concepts that aren't drawn up on a whiteboard — but grow out of what genuinely excites us.

Under one roof we unite a restaurant and bar, a historic event venue and a castle hotel, weddings and catering, a pop-up kitchen with two-Michelin-star chefs, a ghost kitchen and hospitality software — and now: the brand-new event venue l'ab in the former Wiesloch slaughterhouse. Each concept has its own character, all of them share the same conviction.

We are family-run. We are from Heidelberg. We think in generations, not quarters. And we work with people we value — for people who matter to us.

1900 becomes 2026.

Bliss Group is taking over the former Wiesloch slaughterhouse and opening it as l'ab — one address, two worlds: Loft and Studio. Bright and dark. Festive and experimental. And yet one. The name carries both sides: the laboratory — and l'abattoir, the French slaughterhouse.

A kitchen between dry-aged steak and California-style sushi. A bar that crafts its own infusions. A terrace that's packed all summer. NEO in the Zollhofgarten has been Heidelberg's urban address since 2016 — and behind every plate, every roll, every drink is real craft, from our own humidor dry-aging cabinet to the in-house sushi manufactory. In summer there's live music on the terrace every Friday — weather permitting. And Sundays are family day, with childcare so parents get to enjoy their dinner in peace.

Pop-up · Rotating star chefs · Heidelberg

A rotating pop-up series — every edition has its own theme, its own guest chef, its own world. From February 2027: Edition VIII, "Taste of the Dragon" with two-Michelin-star chef Tim Raue (Restaurant Tim Raue, Berlin) — the "China" menu: five courses, five regions from Singapore to Hainan, also available vegan, with wine pairings from Weingut Dreißigacker. Hosted at the Commissary in Patrick-Henry-Village. Tickets are limited; every edition runs for three months only.

Two worlds under one roof: the Loft (The Bright Side) beneath original cast-iron columns, with a Mediterranean terrace for weddings and celebrations. The Studio (The Dark Side) as a kitchen stage for chef's table, omakase, a bar with DJ and outdoor BBQ. Up to 199 guests, four rooms — the newest and perhaps boldest thing under one roof.

BAM! · One truck, many concepts · Now serving Vol. 3

Our food truck is called BAM! — a restored 1969 vintage bus in white × blue, fully equipped with a pinsa oven, teppan plate, rice cooker and fryer. Which means we can run anything: BBQ, Italian, Japanese — or combinations nobody has tried before. We adapt the concept to the occasion, the place and the season. Currently serving Vol. 3: Nippon × Italia — sushi dogs, 24-hour pinsa, bao buns, truffle pasta.

What is l'ab Wiesloch?

Our brand-new event venue in the former slaughterhouse of 1900 in Wiesloch. Two worlds under one roof: the Loft (The Bright Side — up to 120 guests, a large terrace for weddings, celebrations and galas, beneath the original cast-iron columns) and the Studio (The Dark Side — up to 80 guests, a kitchen stage for chef's table, omakase, a bar with DJ and outdoor BBQ with Big Green Egg & Ofyr).
